Howdy! Please tell us a bit about Origin. Why did you choose the name Origin? Was the guild started specifically for Vanguard, or do you play other games as a group?
Hey there, well, the name Origin was created in the early BETA times of Vanguard. We were a group of mates who started playing together back in the Everquest days and we stuck together in high end raids in EQ for about 4-5 years if not more, in a guild currently playing on the Antonius Bayle server, called Tide. When we started our guild in Vanguard we discussed a few options for the guild name and as cliché as it might sound, we picked Origin because it would symbolize "the same group of people meeting once again and swinging swords, this all brings us back to our... Origin" How many people are in the guild so far? Are you looking at a specific play style to adopt (ie. PvP, PvE, Raiding, Casual)?
We have a "Core-base" of about 20-25 members but then we have other casual mates, who wish to limit their gaming time because of various Real Life activities. We are indeed a raiding guild, yet we don't raid 7 days a week, we keep it to 3. Despite some of us wanting to spend every moment awake in APW, some of us have families and/or jobs, so we just cannot spend 7 days a week raiding. Read more here. |
