Dungeons and Dragons Online, DDO is another version of MMORPG. Turbine Inc. developed DDO. The traditional pen and paper role-playing fantasy game was known as DnD as an abbreviated form of Dungeons & Dragons. Turbine took two years to improve Stromreach. James Jones led the team, and DDO appeared on 28 February 2006. Atari published DDO. Turbine Inc. utilized the Dungeons & Dragons 3.5 rule set, and Eberron world settings. Internet access is required to play this game.

The official website of DDO appeared on 09 June 2009. The term stromreach could be converted into subscriptionless meaning ‘free to play’ in North America with Eberron unlimited settings. Update is on.

The processor is Intel Pentium 4 with 1.6 GHz, supporting SSE; video cards can be GeForce 2 & 4 MX or Radeon VE. The other configuration can be 512 RAM or more, 3 GB disk space, and DX9c+ is the direct X. The operating system is Windows XP Home or Pro.

In North American point, there are five servers, and two remains in Europe. Shanda operates the game in China.
