Free Trial Frozen?

I recently began playing Age of Conan because they have what they call an “unlimited free trial”. In my opinion, it's a bit of a scheme to get your money.

I downloaded the client and started playing on the 14th. I did enjoy the time that I spent playing the game, pretty user friendly interface, although some quests and goals are obscure at first. The combat system in the game is very unique, it takes a few minutes to get used to, especially if you have ever played other MMORPG's online. After 10 or 12 minutes wandering around and getting used to the movement, mouse interface and keys that the game tutorial was suggesting, I went at it hardcore. It didn't take me long to begin to like the style of play, it is after all, an MMORPG. Completing around 15 or 20 quests got me to level 7. I took the opportunity to stock up on some AoC Gold at this time. The story line is very unique also. When you do a quest, you are presented with 2-4 options to select from as a response to any given situation. Better still, your responses can affect your standing with certain factions. The basic premise is that you start a character, and as your floating along on a slave boat, seeing other slaves rowing in the background, you select your race and class, as well as what you would like your character to look like. Everyone starts the game this way, and as you soon find out, the slave ship gets sank, and you find yourself sinking to a watery grave. Something strange happens, and you begin floating back up to the surface to find yourself on a rather pretty island. So the story begins for everyone. You soon find yourself deep in the jungle, chasing after the captain of your slave ship, in order to gain your freedom. The bad part comes when you finish up this whole Island starting area, and find that somewhere between levels 20 and 25, you get your account frozen til you decide to pay to play.
